ALCHEMY FILM FOUNDATION

Alchemy Film Foundation is an organization dedicated to the advancement, education and representation of queer filmmakers within television and cinema.  We support the creation of fiction and non-fiction queer and trans narratives in film and television through queer cinema salons, panels, workshops, community building, and financially supporting the creation of  queer screenwriting and filmmaking.

Along with the building of community and supporting the work of queer cinema and television, Alchemy Film Foundation is currently raising funds to acquire a building for what will become the Alchemical Screening Room and Queer Cinema Salon.  The Alchemical Screening Room will be a 25  seat theater in the bay area for the screening of independent queer cinema, queer cinema salons and lectures, weekend long filmmaking intensives, and screening writing and filmmaking residencies.
